Akari UF3-Q Floor Lamp, a modernist interpretation of the Japanese paper lantern. The first lamps were designed in 1951 while Noguchi stayed in Gifu, Japan, and drew inspiration from the traditional lanterns used by local fishermen during night fishing on the Nagara River.
